Is the Job appetite is back?
Post Easter job figures are definitely on the up.
Alexander Chase are reporting figures produced for early part of May 2012 showing a significant improvement in the demand for PR and Marketing staff.
“We have a significant growth in demand for all levels of PR and Marketing staff particularly Account Executives, Account Managers and Account Directors.”
Alexander Chase is starting to reflect that there are signs that a real appetite for jobs is returning. Graham MD, “I like what I am seeing and I think there is a lot more to come. I think our economy has built up some real latent recruitment demand. It could go very very busy very quickly.”
Recruitment is usually a good sign of some of the real health of the economy and our experience is chiming along with the report released at the beginning of May by Marketwire that a shows April produced some significantly better jobs numbers year on year.
I think most people are pretty fed up with all the uncertainty, doom and gloom so we welcome this healthy interest from our clients and those new briefs we are getting!
